Hello from Jade!
I am a Lilac-crown, too but I am a girl! I have a very similar story to yours. I was in a pet shop and I didn't even have a name. The shop owners let me out of the cage every day and one day my mommy was there to visit and look around. I reached out as far as I could from the cage and tried to bite her. Later, she brought Daddy with her. When I saw him, I said "WOOOOOOOW!". The rest is history. I still won't let mommy touch my royal plumage but I will step up for her and give her kisses. But the kisses are ONLY to get to Daddy. Well, I have to go for now. I do hope you stop by my page for a visit. Here is a vote for you, handsome! C ya later!
