(~> Michael & I say 'Hi" from The Rainbow Bridge
Hello Mama & Papa. I am Rosalie Hale Bopp. And I have recently had the pleasure of meeting your Michael up here at the Gates of The Rainbow Bridge. Now mind you, we don't usually have the standard 'BoyBird/GirlBird' kind o' relationships up here at The Bridge, but I gotta admit, when I spied that Blue & Gold wingin' his way in my direction, I had one o' those "WOW" types o' reactions! What a looker!! ~~ But I'm gettin' ahead o' myself here. (That happens when ya get distracted by a hunk like Michael, I guess.) I'm comin' up on two years at The Rainbow Bridge myself, and my job up here is a kind of a self-appointed 'Welcomin' Committee ChairParrotson'. Interestingly, I hail from Michigan originally too. Hatched and raised there for 10 years, then moved to South Carolina with the flockily where My Boss (The Big Guy, The Head Honcho, The Big Kahuna...uh...er...yes, Sir...that is Heavenly Father) decided that I'd make my journey to The Bridge up here shortly before my 11th HatchDay. ~~ But, I digress...AGAIN. I'm so thrilled for you that you were able be in the spirit company of your Wonderful Michael during your return drive on that Sunday afternoon. And you're absolutely right, all of the BirdChannel Flockily Fids who've made the journey from the planet are Angels here at The Bridge. And it was all of us that helped Michael show you that gorgeous rainbow to let ya's know that he's okay. That was our way of cappin' off the festivities that centered around his arrival up here. Let's see...we had a yummy buffet, featured menu items bein' Cheez-Its, Pistacios, and Toast with Peanut Butter & Jelly! And that silly Michael, ate every tidbit with his LEFT FOOT!! Then, o' course, his accomodations were abundantly decorated with fleece blankets of all colors, patterns, and thicknesses. (Since we didn't have a lot of advance info on his parrotsonal preferences, we thought we'd just cover ALL the bases!) He met the entire Rainbow Bridge Flock, My Boss (of course!), and got the '25¢ Tour'! And now we're all just kickin' back gettin' to know each other and adjustin' to the Perfect Life we have here whilst we wait for our reunions with those we love still down there on the planet. But no rush; the time'll come. And it'll be like it was before...only BETTER! ~~
