IT'S FREIGHTENED LITTLE LUCY
Oh Pepin, you are not going to believe what happened at our house today....two of the smaller kitchen cabinets fell off the wall! You should have heard the crash!! It was deafening! Daddy said that if he hadn't been standing right there, he would have thought a plane crashed into our house. They didn't have any dishes in them, just Mommy's cookbooks in one and lots of birdie stuff and a few books in the other one. There was lots of stuff on top of the cupboards though, like three teapots, a pitcher and two vases, one was a lovely little vase Mommy's little granddaughter hand painted for her for Mothers' Day. It was a terrible mess. It happened shortly after Mommy left for Curves. So Daddy was still cleaning up the mess when she got home. Then they had to go out looking for a couple of unfinished cupboards. Finny and I were terrified! I flew straight to my cage and hid in my snuggle hut. Neither one of us wanted to come out for awhile after that, which was a good thing since there was so much stuff to clean up. We weren't ourselves for the rest of the day, and will be glad to go to bed tonight. I sure hope we sleep good and there won't be any more surprises like that! I think it took a few years off our lives! Well, night-night, I'll try to sleep tight. A Big Hug from Little Lucy♥♥ |
