Hello from Twilight!
Wow! you have a new baby bird! That is so neat! I was a baby bird once a long time ago (almost 3 yrs.) What are you going to name the baby? I think that is so great!
I am doing very well with my collar. Almost all of my feathers are growing back in and most of the really itchy part is over. I've decided that this collar isn't so very bad after all. My 12 yr old cuddles me all day long, I get to ride around inside her sweatshirt , she's giving me all sorts of treats, my travel cage is in her room now and I even get to fall asleep in her bed while she reads at night! Pretty sweet!
It is really weird this winter. we haven't had any snow that stayed yet! Usually we have a couple of feet of snow by Halloween. This year it's snowless and warm(40's) A lot of the wild birds that usually are gone by now are still hanging out at our feeder so I think my people had better buy lots of seed so they don't get hungry. We have 5 special birds at the feeder, 2 baby Jays and 3 baby Chickadees that all hatched in the trees in our backyard. The Chickadees are very cute and tiny but the baby Jays are huge! They have pretty crests like you but theirs are a pretty grey-blue color.
Keep working on that hampster plan. We birds are decended from dinosaurs and they were the smartest things going in their world!

Happy Flying!
