Yeah, I know (re: Zoe). I told my aunt the story and she predicted that I'll be getting Zoe in the next year or two (probably true, because this sees animals as posessions and gets tired of them eventually- she had two cats- sweet persians- put down because she was tired of their shedding!). I bought some dried dragonfruit and hibiscus flowers for the birds at Trader Joe's and mixed it in with their seed. The dragonfruit isn't to my taste- a little nutty, but mostly flavorless, but Sam seems to like it. Tedi's really taken to the dish I put on the bottom of his cage- I'm hoping that he'll eat a wider variety of food now. It's fun to watch him fly from the top to the bottom of his cage- he has to zig-zag because the cage is six feet tall and only three feet wide! I figure bourke's must eat a lot of stuff off of the ground in the wild.
