Oh, J-Bean, I'm so happy to hear from you. Please, don't apologize for not logging in for awhile. The important thing is that you did today and you wrote and let me know you're okay. I'm concerned about 'the situation' and hope that all works out okay. I'll keep you in my thoughts, right here in this macaw mind of mine.
So you saw my YouTube video, huh? Yup, that bang it till the nut falls out is my favorite approach to gettin' the reward although I must say I worked pretty hard on that last green one. I whacked it up against the wood a couple of times but for the most part I just kept trying to turn those little arms in hopes I'd get to the pistachio on the inside. Just today I had to work my favorite little nut out of some other foraging puzzle. This one always wants to hold onto my beak after I slide the tip in to get a nut. Darn toy! It'd be easier if the food was just put in a bowl....
