You know That Eikes esp. solomons are liken to Cats . Food and love are the two things that they respond to and only on there terms. I believe it will take some time and love to bring her around. I work from home so I have time during the day to spend with the our birds. So We were able helped a fellow not long ago with his Eike. I had her for a month she was from a flea market and in sad shape afraid of her own shadow.
so anyhow every morning after food time and I mean right after I towel her for 30 mintues and talked softly to her (not easy when your a huge man I am the guy that the kids are afraid of ) anyway after about the 20th day she started looking forward to it and I would just open the cage and she would climb right up but boy for the frist week I thought that I might be hurting her ( I was't of course). Same is true for most people the fear is worst then the what we are afraid of.

Just a little information that might help you. I am no Bird Shrink and don't claim to be an Expert but I did help Ron and MaryAnn using this method and it may help you I know that most expert say just time and love. I do think that if you do decide to use the same meathod we did have some one else other then the cheif care giver do it. Just in case it doesn't work for you she won't be hateing you.
