Hi Pepper
So we are neighbors!!!!! GREAT !!!!!!! I'm a BFA too. Mt vet is Dr. Bonda on SR70 in Bradenton. Sometimes I go to Dr. Rill on University. You have to make sure to get Dr. Rill though. Dr. Bonda is the only aviary certified vet in the area. He trained with specialists in Tampa. He is VERY good. He takes care of our Grey that has seizures. My mom is a pet sitter in the area, and she and Dr. Bonda refer each other to clients. My mom gets most of my toys from bird shows, internet, or Animal Crackers in Sarasota. Maybe I'll see you sometime. PS--I was a legally captured bird, and tossed around from home to home. My mom and her human son picked me up at a bird expo north of Tampa on St. Patrick's Day in 2001. My tail feathers were damaged from being in a too small cage. I guess they felt sorry for me. They picked me because I have long eyelashes. The humans celebrate my hatch day every March 17th. And--I'm green!!!
