Hi Lingua!
Luca here!! Just flying by to say hello again!! Oh, and I asked mom about the petsitter thing. Our petsitter charges by the day: $20 for once a day visit, $35 for twice a day visits. I guess it depends on who you get what their costs are. My mom found her on PSI - Pet sitters Int'l - :) You can pull up your area and see who is in your territory. A word of advice from mom: Interview at least 3 of them (and make sure they have some experience with parrots). Mom was glad she met with 3 of them because the first two were NOT what she wanted in birdie sitters for us. Not that they were not good, mom is just picky and she'll leave only someone really special to care for us.
Hope that helps. It sure is better than boarding. We used to have fun at 'Camp Omars' (an exotic parrot boarding place) but it got very expensive as the flock expanded and mom says she would rather spend that extra money on toys and stuff to spoil us.
Ok - off for now! I think I want to take a bath and then an afternoon nap!
See you soon my friend, and good luck with finding a petsitter! Here's another V4U.
~ Your friend, Luca
