Hello from Twilight!
Hi Jesse. I am sorry to hear that you lost your sibling. You must be very lonely without him to play with. I get lonely if my people even go away overnight. Before Mom got me she had 3 other Lovebirds, Blue Sky & Aurora (Blue & Rory) came from a pet store. Rory was a Peach Faced boy & Blue was a girl all blue & white & grey colors. Rory flew right to Mom in the bird room @ the store but Blue was very frightened because everyone kept trying to catch her because of her unusual coloring. Mom saw how upset she was & got her too so she wouldn't have to be so frightened anymore. It was 6 months before Mom could pick her up & a whole year before Blue stopped biting everyone who came near her. Rory was a big cuddle bug from the start. Mom's third Lovebird was named Greenbean (Beanie boy) & Mom got him from Kim-the-bird-lady. He was all grown up when Mom got him. He just landed on her sholder & refused to get off. Beanie would follow Mom all over the house by running along behind her! He was a good flier but I think he didn't want Mom to feel bad because she wasn't, so he ran along the floor behind her. He also ran over & greeted everyone who came in the door. After that Mom got me from the bird lady too. I was so little I didn't even have feathers! Mom didn't get to take me home until I was 4 weeks old & I have lived with her ever since. She is very lucky I turned out to be so gloriously handsome! Sometimes I like to run around on the floor too but mostly I like to use my strong wings & fly really fast everywhere. I try my best to make Mom smile a lot. I bet you do that for your mom too. You know when Moms get sad the best thing is to cuddle & snuggle them then they start feeling better again.
I'm leaving you a vote.

Happy Flying!
