Hello Ginger!
Thank you for flying in. Gosh, it's been a while since me and mom went to the BC. It used to be so much fun, but then it got a little stupid around here with all the competition going on who will be Bird Of The Week & Month. (ooops, probably pooped on a lot of them right then, hehehe).
A lot of people quit coming on here because of that.
That is sooooo cool, that you live so close, there are not that many CARING birdpeople with birds around. And you are so pretty too, you are a young lady already, i am still a baby but i can act VERY sophisticated and Amazon-like also, hehehe. I rule the flock, even i am the youngest and the only bird-girl. And i can talk 'em all down, even the Grey. We are babysitting an Umbrella Cockatoo again, she always visits with us when her mom & dad go out of town, and giiiirl, is she LOUD. She is louder then me!!! Mom always tells me to behave and to watch my "potty-beak" when the 'too is her, common, how could she do that? But maybe mom is right, it's not a good idea to use bad language around a bird who belongs to a pastor, i guess? Even if she does not talk at all.
But anyway, we live in Cadiz since 2004, before we lived in Hoptown, on Madisonville Rd. Mom likes Cadiz much better but still wants to move somewhere warm and dry. She says she wants to go to Las Vegas or surrounding, away from all the rain and humidity. But ol' dad , well that's a different story, he will probably never get away from all this here.
I know we don't know each other yet, but maybe our moms can get together sometimes. My mom always loves to meet bird-people.
She has to get my travel cage together for tomorrow, Thursday. I have an appointment with my vet in Nashville, yearly checkup and beak trim. Yuck!! I love going for a ride, but the trim.... mom says it's my own fault, because i do not like to chew on wood toys.
Well, i would like to talk some more but mom really has to go. We have to get up early and she has to get all the other birds and critters ready.
Hope to hear from you again, and......sorry about mom's english, she is german and sometimes them words just don't come out right. |
