Hi April!
It's always a very difficult decision to own another bird. Mommy always says, "If you have the money, the space and most importantly, the TIME to take care of another bird then by all means, get one! You will always have enough love in your heart for every bird in your home." I think that's a pretty good theory. It's very important (as we know your mommy knows) to have the time to spend with each birdie, as well as the money to take care of him. If that works out, by all means, add to your flock! But it sounds as if your mommy has thought about it and the money part might not be there, so I'll bet she made a very good decision!

Zebers here tonight. Not to worry, Huey is doing just fine, I'm just more of a night birdie than he is. He was tired and asked me to blog tonight and I told him I'd love to! I think he's still pretty sad about losing both Comet and Lee-Roial yesterday. We all are. But we do have some good news to hopefully brighten your day. Ellie is definitely back to herself 100%!! Mommy is SOOO relieved. I don't think even SHE realized how nervous she was. But Ellie is back to her sweet, sassy, naughty, lovey, snuggly self. And goober Huey is doing great too! He's chewing on his cast some, but that's okay because Doc Melissa is so good that even Huey can't chew this cast off (Ellie maybe, but not Huey! Tehehe!) And mommy says that it's kind of a good thing that he keeps biting on it because that means that it doesn't hurt so much anymore. Both Huey and Ellie have to take the yucky medicine for another week, but it's worth it because it's working! Hope you are doing well my dear friend! Have a great day and we'll chat again soon! Love you lots! ~Zebers for my frother Huey and my fister Ellie
