Hello once again...
Sunny here with an update from our home. It has been a very rough week for all of us. Mom cries a lot still. She tries to cover it up but I know. I can feel her sadness and hear her heart breaking. I have also been lost without my little buddy around. I don't feel like chirping, eating or playing. I refuse to go to Comet's cage but I also look for him in there. I have been holding tight to mom. I know she is hurting just as much as I am right now. Together, we will help each other. Mom is helping me learn how to be a single bird for the first time in my thirteen year life. Mom also wanted me to thank everyone for their prayers, well wishes, blogs, emails, flowers and cards. She doesn't know what she would do without all the support she has gotten. It is hard for mom to go on Comet's page and read all the blogs from the past six days. In time, she will be able to read all of them but just not yet. She would like to thank YOU for being there at this most devastating time in our lives. Comet was not just a cockatiel, he was a legend. A real clown, mom's 'problem child', the leader of the flock and the most loving bird ever. He will be missed but never forgotten.
