GOOD MORNING FROM LITTLE LUCY AGAIN Hi Shasta, my little friend, Just when I’ve adjusted to my Princess cape and didn't mind it much anymore, I find I’m all better. This is my last day for my medicine, and Mommy took my cape off yesterday morning to see if I would pluck anymore. Guess what? I didn’t! So she left it off all day and I got to go to bed last night without it, too. I go to see my doctor today to get a clean bill of health, at least I hope that’s what I’ll get. Mommy just could hardly believe what a good little girl I am. Last night when it was time to take my medicine before I went to bed, she didn’t even have to retrieve me. I usually fly away because I know what’s coming. I just sat there on her shoulder while she drew it up in the syringe. When she said it was time and held the syringe out to me, I started to lick it. Then when she told me to open my beak, I DID!!! I just sat there on her shoulder and opened my beak and took the medicine without anyone holding me or anything! Mommy almost cried she was SO proud of me. She just kept telling me over and over again what a good little girl I am, but then I already knew that. (hehehe) Remember, me telling you how I try to please my Mommy as much as I can? Well, now she knows it for sure! No wonder I feel so much better. Mommy takes such good care of me. Big Hugs from Little Lucy |
