It's Little Lucy Here
Hello Murzy, I saw you blog on Chevy's page. Since he was a friend of yours I thought you'd want to know that Chevy died. I also read that you put your bird's cage outside at night and a cat got him. Whether or not there was a problem with the cage door, you should NEVER put a bird and his cage outside at night. In fact, you should NEVER put your bird and his cage outside unless you are there all the time supervising him. Even if the cat couldn't get IN the cage, he could still knock it down and terrorize your little bird and he could die of a heart attack. If you are going to keep birds, you must be more responsible for them. Birds are not toys. they are living, feeling, loving creatures. They depend on you for their well being and safety. Please be more careful in the future. We lost a bird, too, and it hurts very much. So I wouldn't want to see another one of your little birds die. Please understand that I mean well for both you and your birds. That's why I'm writing to you. Little Miss Lucy
