Hi Sunshine
King Huey here with more very sad news. Over the last week we have lost 3 BBFF's. April (109387) and Chevy (148347) are fiblings. They flew to the Rainbow bridge a week apart. There mommy, Tiffany, is very heartbroken. And then on Monday we lost Maxi (9042) part of SweetPepper's flock. This sure is one part of being king that I don't like. But boy they must be having a big ol' party up at the Rainbow Bridge with so many BBFF's arriving! I just wish it didn't have to be this way and we didn't have to miss them so very, very much. Fly free all my dear sweet friends. You are so terribly missed already.
And even though it is such a sad time, I would like to honor a very special princess. Miss Lucy Blue helped me out immensely this past week. See my mommy was very sick with the flu (so sick that her boyfriend, Paul, would come and feed us and play with us cuz mommy couldn't get out of bed!) Well, mommy CERTAINLY wasn't up to taking my dictations, so I called upon Miss Lucy to help. She and her mommy stayed up extra late flying around BC and letting everybirdie know what was going on. She worked so very hard and did such a wonderful job that I have named her "Miss Lucy Blue, Lady of the King's Court" and I have offered her a suite in the castle for the remainder of the month (of course, Jivu can always stay too! Tehehe!) I have not heard back for her to see if she will accept this title, but I sure hope she does!
Mommy is feeling a bit better. She's out of bed and even put in a half a day at work today, but now she's REALLY exhausted! And my check-up for my leg has been bumped back to Thursday this week, so we'll be sure to let you know what Doc Melissa says!!

P.S. It was so wonderful to hear from you my friend...as always! How are Fred's feet doing? Is he liking being on that diet? Tehehe! I know I would HATE it! So glad to hear everything is going so well with you! Hope to hear from you again soon! Love you lots!! |
