CHARLI!!!!!!!!! OMGosh!!!!! Well, knock me down with a feather. I'm not believing my eyes. Be still my over-excited heart; it's my friend, Charli! Grover told me you were back but at first I didn't believe him. I mean, he's always chattering on about all sorts of nothing. I figured he was just delirious what with the spring breezes blowing and all. Then I sort of figured he was just teasing me, seeing as he knew how much I missed you. But then, when he told me he'd written to George and Daffney a second time, I was like, Okay, maybe he's not joshing me. Of course, he kept mentioning this after lights out when it was too late for me to be on the BC. Little bugger. Well, here I am, beak hanging open as I gaze at pictures I felt I'd never see again, happier than a grey bird in a peanut plant. It's wonderful to hear from you again, Charli. We've much to catch up on. I want to know how the baby girl is, what you think of her, what new and funny things you've said today, done today, inspired today. You always were an amusing character. I know that hasn't changed. If anything, it's only been enhanced in your time away. I won't dump a bunch of stories on your now. We'll share them one at a time, savor them as we get back in touch in the days and weeks to come. Look forward to our future chats. Kisses from K *v* |
