Hello Jay-Lo,
Thanks for flying by with Hatchday wishes and a BOTD vote. I'll be flying by your sister's page later to give her greetings. You're welcome to a slice of cake from my avatar. That's far too much for me to eat. LOL
I've had a greYt day. It started with banana and blueberries in my oatmeal. I ate every little bit. It was delicious.
Then I got some good screaming in while looking out the window, before taking a long and energetic bath. Even though I get showered everyday with the spray bottle, my feathers only get really soft when I bathe in my tub. I was given a whole mandarin orange. It was so scrumptious that very little, if any, was wasted.
I spent most of the afternoon napping then ate a delicious supper of scrambled egg with beets in it. It was a very pretty colour. The windows were opened to let in the fresh air and I sat near the window chanting, "Pengweeen, weeeeen, weeeeen....."
There is still some more in this day to eat up attention and be given treats. I plan to milk it for all it's worth. I've yet to be given a gift, but Mama says when she gets the chance she'll make me some of my foraging pockets, which consist of scraps of material sewn into little pouches, filled with pieces of wood, ribbons with beads strung on them and dried pasta and corn. They keep me occupied for hours and it's been ages since I've seen new ones.
If you'd like to see my baby pictures, (how embarrassing) the first three in my photo gallery are of me at 12 weeks old. Mama thought they'd be fitting since it's my hatchday.
