Hi Bobber Gene here. Oh dear, you misunderstood. I was turned over to the humane society along with my fister, a yellow-fronted amazon. No one told them that much about us when we were dropped off. They didn't even give my name!! That's why the shelter gave me the name Shamrock. But my foster mom listened to me and found out my name. I was only at the shelter a few days before mom got me. The humane society shelter doesn't know anything about birds so when a bird comes in they sell it asap. But with a bird that plucks or is way thin they call the RAAVE bird rescue and they pick us up. There are only 3 in the rescue/foster part of the club and we wish there were more. I'm just glad that I got taken to a place where I can scream and not be yelled at all the time and where I get all the food I can eat. Mom wishes she had more idea of what I went thru...or maybe not...because it would help her understand me more. Thanks for flying over and do come back. Have a great week.
