Hi my friend!!
Luca here - just coming by for a chat and to vote for my buddy! :)
To answer your question, yes. Sometimes I bite when mom (or dad) takes me out of my cage. I am feisty and usually this time of year (spring time) the hormones are in full swing and I get nippy. What mom does when I am like this is let me come out of my cage (on my own), I fluff up, get all excited to see her, dance around (basically, let all my pent up energy out) then mom asks me to step up and I step up like a good girl. I get a little over-excited sometimes and although it's polite to listen, sometimes we don't want to. Mom also gets a small perch and will ask me to step up on that. After I shred it to death, I step up. You are close to hitting that maturity level, so when I first started biting my parronts, they thought I was being rude. I just have a mind of my own and like to do my own thing! :) Hope this helps?
A Blue Crown! They are soooooo pretty! And funny too! You have to keep us posted if you get a new flock mate, ok? Thanks for the link!
Here's a vote for you and behave for your mama!!!
xoxo Luca
