Well, she took the cats to the vet to have them killed, but I know that vet and let's just say they found a good home (not exactly legal, but highly moral). I don't think she'd have Zoe killed, though- unless there were a medical reason. Anyway... my lovebird used to love her kabobs, too! I used to buy unsulfered mixed fruit at the health food store and just keep one stocked with dried fruit all the time, then sometimes I'd put fresh fruits and veggies on another (sweet corn rounds- the LOVE them!). My cockatiels loved them too, but these guys just ignore them. I tell you, that Tedi is SO picky! I've tried giving him sprouted seed, green seed (I found a whole bunch of wild millet heads up north), not to mention fruits and vegetables in every possible way, and he just ignores them! What I need is an "example bird", one who'll eat anything with gusto. Pye was really good for that- she'd eat anything that didn't try to eat her first!
