Hi Twister
Gene here. We used to have a Dandy here. But when we moved to this new house we had to thin out the flock. Dandy is kind of offish. He likes to be seen but not touched and so mom found him a forever home at an Alzheimer's home. There's a lot of birds in there, finches (some of the orange weavers mom had)budgies, tiels and even a bourkes keet. Mom checks on them off and on and Dandy is very happy there. He gets tons of attention and food and no one tries to hold him. AND he has a girlfriend there too. Oh she is lovely.
Nolly and Scrappy found a new home too. They are very happy there. Mom gets updates on them as well.
After mom found homes for everyone she found out that she could have kept them. And that the landlady really liked that mom fostered. So that's how come we got to have Reggie. He's doing real good. Gaining weight and trusting.
Gotta fly for now. v4u
