Hi Tinkerbell
Punkin here. Oh you have the sweetest story. Much better than Reggies. Mom is hoping that the society finches she got will foster any eggs of ours since we haven't had much luck doing it ourselves. I lay every year but what has happened in the past is they slipped between the grates and we broke them trying to get them up. This year mom took out the grates and then thought that the societies would be great foster parents. She says I'm getting to the age that she would love to keep weavers and knows one day she'll be very sad when she comes to our cage. Since finches are not long lived birds. I do hope mom gets a picture of my eggs this year. they are so pretty!
Fly by any time. You're always welcome and there is plenty of millet. v4u
