Wonder Wings Cheerleaders are the BEST!!!
Ooops ... sorry we lost ... it wasn't anybirdies fault ... we did our best!!! We'll get 'em good the next time!!!

Baseball in the month of June opened with the CAG Red Tails facing off against the Wonder Wings. Both teams scored 3 runs in the 1st inning. The CAGs saw hits by Miranda, Sly, Mowgli, Sheba, Lucky and Ruby. For the WW, Lars and Pedro scored when Buddy hit a HR. Max, Pico and Gus would then load the bases but were shut out. The 2nd inning had just one hit, a single by Roscoe. In the 3rd CAG Arthur Alex opened with a solo HR. WW Toby, Lars, Buddy loaded the bases and scored 1 run when Rocket hit a single. In the 4th, CAG’s Lucky, Munchkin and Gabriella scored when Shadow hit a triple. WW Ziggy hit a single and scored when Sunny hit a triple to make the score 7-6 CAGs. In the 5th, CAG Grady and Mowgli hit solo HRs and Lucky and Munchkin combined for 1 more run. WW Roscoe hit a double but again could not come home. In the 6th, the HRs continued for the CAGs with Shadow and Miranda . Sly, Arthur Alex and Mowgli combined to add 1 run. WW La Roux opened with a solo HR as Lars, Pedro and Rocket added 1 more to make the score 13-8 CAGs. In the 7th the CAGs loaded the bases with Ruby, Gabriella and Shadow and got 1 across when Sly hit a single. As the WW were blanked. In the 8th, Grady scored when Sheba hit a HR. Ruby would then score when Munchkin hit a HR. Manu and Roscoe hit singles but could not score. In the 9th, the CAGs loaded the bases with Sly, Arthur Alex and Grady but could not add to the team score. WW Lars opened with a double and scored when Buddy hit a triple. Rocket’s triple would add 1 more run but the CAG lead was too much. Final Score: CAG Red Tails 18, Wonder Wings 10.
