Awwww, Starburst...
I'm sorry t'hear about your poor beaky-booboo. That hurts SOOOO much to break the tip off. I know! I did the exact same thing two weeks ago. Yup. I got bumped (by another bird... a little conure, I'm embarrassed to admit) and knocked off a table onto a cement floor, beak first of course. I bled like CRAZY!!! There was a moment there mom thought that a cauterization was going to be necessary to stop the blood flow. I got tired of my beak being clamped tightly in a paper towel full of corn starch. I didn't bite but I didn't sit still either. Like you, I had to be "burritoed" in a big towel and kept there well after the bleeding finally stopped. I know just what you're talkin' about when you say the beak is tender! I didn't use mine for two days for climbing up on my cage or slitting any wooden blocks. I didn't even eat any of my pellets for awhile; they were too hard! I hope by tomorrow your beak's feelin' better. I wonder what it was that caused your owwiee... Thanks for thinkin' of me and lettin' me know to be careful. My only advice is stay away from jealous conures. They're little but they don't seem to know that. (Nutsy character.)

If you've got the time, let me know how you're doin, okay? R ('>
