Sweetpea!
How am I, you ask? Behind in writing notes, that's how I am! This warmer weather stuff really cuts into my computer time. I may be a tropical bird but I like snow for a couple of reasons. One, my mom doesn't stay out in long, not like she does with the grass and plants.
I'm sorry t'hear you're about to melt from all the heat. There's only be a couple of hot days here so far. For the most part, it's still acting like spring. I've been able t'go outside quite a bit lately, which is nice. Unlike you, I don't chirp at the wild birds. I think they're chirping at me though. Today I was out in my parrot pen when the clouds above suddenly cut loose and dumped great big raindrops on me. I spread my wings and rolled my head around, enjoying the shower! Silly me, huh?
Still can't believe you managed to fly off down the street. I look at your pictures and try to imagine you sitting in a tree instead of on your fountain or on a perch. Yikes. What a miracle that you daddy found you and that you stayed put till you were picked up. Shooo!
Hey, if you get to enjoy some morning time with Mommy on the porch in the morning while she enjoys her coffee, give her a little kiss for me, would ya? And see if she won't give you one back ... from me.
