Dearest Cheerleaders ...
Just a note to urge you all to say a prayer for our two team members who are sick at this time -- Susan and Murphee. We are a team on the field and off the field ... and are here to support each other in the good times and the bad. I know we can speak for the whole team in saying we wish both birdies the speediest of recoveries.

Hopefully the good news that we won our last game will cheer Murph and Susan. Let us dedicate that win to them. Here is the play by play of that game in case it was missed on the stadium page:

THEY WON 19-18!
The Quakers took the field Saturday against the Wonder Wings. The 1st inning was hot. The Quaker quickly loaded the bases with Waddles, Peter and Photon. Quincy’s single and a double by Little Bit resulted in 3 runs. The WW came right back with 6 runs as Gus opened with a HR. Singles by Ziggy, Zebers, Sam and Lars and triples by Roscoe, Sunny and Manu netted 5 more. Things were quiet for the 2nd. In the 3rd the Quakers tied the score with 3 runs with hits by Lady Di, Jade Kruse, Waddles and a HR by Audie. The WW retook the lead in the 4th when Toby and Lars scored when Pedro hit a HR. Buddy and Rocket scored when Max hit a HR to make the score 12-6 WW. In the 5th, the WW scored another 6 runs with hits by Sunny, Manu, Roscoe, Sam, Tobey and a HR by Lars. The Quakers started their comeback in the 6th scoring 4 runs when Peter and River scored when Photon hit a HR. Quincy, Little Bit and Kiwi added 1 more to make the score 18-10 WW. In the 7th, Quaker Mikey scored when Jade Kruse hit a HR followed by Waddle’s solo HR to creep closer. Entering the 9th inning, the Quakers had shut down the WW offense but were trailing 18-13. Little Bit got things rolling with a single followed by a double from Mario. Kiwi cleared the bases with a HR as JoJo followed with another HR. Mikey then hit a triple and scored with Lady Di hit a single to tie the score at 18. Tied going into the bottom of the 9th, WW Pedro hit a single. Rocket then stepped up to the plate and slammed a triple into right field to score Pedro to end the game. Final Score: Wonder Wings 19, Quaker Little Dragons 18.
