Hi again from Woof and Meow
Also just wanted to say hi to a fellow New Yorker. We never heard of a lorie who likes to go swimming. Bathing, yes, but swimming, no. We live in the Park Slope area of Brooklyn and our owner bought us from a bird store in Manhattan called Urban Bird. It's not around anymore, but it was a cool store. All the birds were out and about, although the bigger birds were sorta kept in their area from smaller ones. There was a big window in front of the store, and every now and then, a bunch of sun conures would sit in the window to stare at the passersby, who would stop to admire how straight and pretty they sat in the window.
