Toby’s HR was the 5th dinger for the WW and made the score 10-8 Conures. Things got going again in the 4th when Captain Morgan hit a HR and Kiwi scored when Giggle hit a double. The WW would take the lead in the 4th scoring 8 runs. Pico and Ziggy hit HRs. Sam had a triple, doubles from Sunny and Roscoe and a string of singles by Zebers, Gus, Toby, Lars, Pedro and Buddy made the score 18-12 WW. In the 5th Conure Kirby hit a HR. WW Max opened with a HR and Pico and Ziggy combined for 1 more. In the 6th both teams traded 1 run as Captain Morgan and Kiwi combined for 1 and WW Manu, Roscoe and La Roux combined for their run. The WW bats caught fire big time in the 7th scoring a whopping 13 runs as the team hit for the cycle including La Roux’s Grand Slam. The stunned Conures managed 2 runs in the 8th with hits by Popeye, Meiko, Captain Morgan and Kiwi but the WW scored 2 as well with hits by Buddy, Max and Gus. Trailing 34-16, the Conures need a miracle. Squeaky and Cookie hit singles and scored when Corky hit a HR to make 19 but the WW lead was too great.
