Oh, SweetPea
Oh,SweetPea, c'mon and dance with me
C'mon c'mon c'mon and dance with me.

I went to the store the other night
I saw a birdie there she was outta sight
I walked up and I asked her what her name could be
She said "my Mommy just calls me SweetPea".

I finally got to whisper sweet words in her ear
And told her that we oughta get away from there.
When we walked outside I held her close to me
And in her birdie ear I said "I love you SweetPea"

Oh,SweetPea,I love you can't you see
Love you love you love can't you see
Oh, SweetPea, won't you be my girl
Won't you won't you won't you be my birdie girl.
