Well, she seemed to have stopped, but then started again. I guess the honeymoon period was over. I could tell she was depressed, too many different homes in too little time. I mean , she was kicked out by her owner after she had lived with her seven years! I do ot think her care was good, but she was loved, because she knows phrases like "pretty, pretty girl," "good girl," She's a sweet girl." So I guess she was missing her. I had convinced her to play with toys, and she was really tearing apart a rope toy I made, but hten she stopped and would just eat and pluck, whether I was holding her or not. I hold her everyday and tell her I am sorry, and just let her sit with ne, it is getting better. Fortuantly she will try new foods, so it makes it easier for me! I also give her aloe one week, then a break, then high doses of silver, then a long bit of probiotics to help her. Just since I have gotten her, the daily sinshine I give them, mostly through an open screened window, and showers, have turned her feather form a greasy dull green-black to a more natural color. Do you know anyhting about seizures? I think she might get those. A couple of times I hvae seen her foot jerk up to her neck and freeze there, the toes crumpled, will she shakes back and forth, sortof brething hard/moaning, and her head jerks around randomly. It looks very painful. Her feet are rather funny all the time, I think they hurt her. Sometimes she will just hold them out, or shake them, and start pulling at the toes gently, as if to straighten them. It seems to be the left foot mostly, and when she does her funny jerking thing, it is her left foot she has held up, and her neck seems to be cramped on that side. Any ideas? She is getting along with Frank much better. Their little arguments are clearing up; today he was feeding her. I hope you are able to find some budgies from someone else, so many needs homes, though of course you know that. Still, I am sure Windy is really wanting a friend again.
