Good Morning Sisko
How nice to get a visit from you, that's a very sad story about your previous parront, you were so lucky that your new Mom brought you home with her and loves you so much. Sometimes that doesn't happen and we end up neglected or abused. You and your flock mates are able to stay together, that's also very important, it will make the transition less traumatic for all of you. Mom purchased me at a local bird fair, I had a wonderful breeder who only bred Cockatoo's and she loved me very much, than I came home with Mom and she has given me a wonderful life. I'm a very sweet, cuddly, lovable guy so Mom says, I'm very bonded with her. I love to spend as much time with her as possible and she always makes time for us no matter what else might be going on. I'm rather spoiled, but I've never bitten anyone and have a very pleasant disposition, that's because I'm so loved and cared for. CoCo is a rescue from another family, she was neglected quite a bit and was very cage territorial when she came to live with us, but she's become the sweetest little girl. Mom got Rusty last year at the same bird fair, he's also very sweet and he's learned lots of new words and phrases that is a constant amazement to Mom. He's picked up all the things I say, I'm quite a talker, and not as noisy as some folk seem to think, I like my bedtime to be precise, and my food on time. lol. I get to go outside with Mom a lot and she hopes to one day have an outside aviary so we can all enjoy the warm months outside yet protected from flying hawks in our area, those things are really scary.
I'm really glad you decided to join BC, I really love it here, it gives us an opportunity to meet new friends, Mom has become good friends with several of the humans. It's been good for us to meet new bird loving people that have the same passion for birds as we do..Have a good day sweetheart and I hope you'll visit any chance you get..Say hello to the rest of the gang, and I'll be stopping back by their pages again soon..Love from your new friend Romeo |
