Hello Dewey
I never knew if mine were female or male. But they are like the large birds packed into a small bird. And with how smart Kiwi was i felt like she was a female. haha. But again they have the cutest personalites. Some of the words she knew was hello, step up, get down. I would say get down jokingly if she flew onto the top of the door. So again i think about it on if i would ever get another one and the blue color would be cool because its like owning a large bird with how much they can talk. It was July of 2005 or 2006 she died. Like a lung infection or something like that. Actually i believe the reason my past two quakers only lived 4 years is because i realize i didnt have them on the best seed diet. There was too much sunflower and safflower seeds in their diet they were eating. And they didnt like the pellets. Of course they never knew each other because i bought one after the other one died. ITs been about 5 years since Kiwi died around July of 2005 or 2006. But now Feather has been with me long because i had changed her seed diet a while back to one that has hardly any sunflower and no safflower. And Feather LOVES the pellets and its the first thing she looks for. And also i have her on Nutriberries which is very healthy. But again those quakers sure have alot of personality. One thing that i always thought was cute was when Kiwi would walk upside down on her cage. My cockatiels couldnt do that.
