Hi Dewey
I have been ordering her nutriberries from FoodFoodDirect. Just type in the www. ect and its probably the same sight. They usually have them at petshops but what i get seems to be fresh. It looks like balls of seed. I bet Dewey would love them. I dont put them in Feathers regular bowl because she was skipping them. I stick them in a small bowl by their self and she walks up to the bowl and eats them because the other seed is not with them. So one trick would be to put them seperate in a small bowl or else he might ignore them. Speaking of liver disease the vet did a autopsy and it had something to do with the lungs like a infection or nemonia however you spell it. Her pour diet could have made her more prone to get sick. In the autopsy the doctor actually saw that she had the beginning of liver disease but thats not what she died from. I think this is gonna be a long long blog but one more thing i had really thought of this morning is that when you said Dewey will mimic yelling my cute memory flooded back to me that Kiwi use to actually mimic arguments or shouting into another room but she didnt do that everyday. What i mean is that sometimes a minute after argueing with my mother she would start shouting in a voice in her own language. I got a bang out of it feeling like she is mimicking a argument we had. haha. I remember thinking to myself haha she is mimicking my mother. She would also mimic talking because sometimes she would chatter in her own lauguage. But i will end by saying that if Dewey ends up liking nutriberries it will help greately especially since she may never learn to like pellets. You can give her some seed. Feather likes the tiny parakeet seed that they stick in the mix. I would give Dewey the cockatiel nutriberries because it comes in differenct sizes.
