O COME ALL YE FEATHERED!!
It's time for the December milonga!!

Date: Saturday, December 11th
Place: Milonga 2010 page #165848
Time: 8 PM EST

Come one, come all to celebrate this wonderful month. From Christmas to Channukah to Kwanzaa, we all have something to raise a glass of cheer for. And there will be lots of cheer for all to share. We will begin the evening with a delightful buffet dinner created by our very own Chef Lizzie the Dragon. I have seen the menu, and I recommend you come hungry!

Next we will have some group caroling led by SweetPepper, Mango and yours truly. So if you have some favorites, brush them off. We will begin the fun with that old traditional Jingle Birds.

Once we have sung our hearts out, there will be a choice of activities for your pleasure. There will be dancing, of course, to the strains of holiday music like Jingle Bird Rock and Rocking around the Christmas Cage. And some slow songs for you romantic types like the classic O Little Bird of Bethlehem.

However for those of you who do not feel like dancing, we are showing a movie! The cartoon version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas will be shown in the lounge next to the ballroom. There will be popcorn balls and sugar plums and lots of other sweets and treats to snack on during the movie (if you have any room left after Lizzie's gourmet feast).

I think you will all agree that this is an evening not to be missed, so I will count on seeing you there. Dress code is whatever you like: from holiday duds to your very own feathers. The only requirement is a joyful spirit and a big appetite!
