I'm sure the aloe will help- it might help her plucking, too! My old 'tiel Daisy had small cage anxiety too. Luckily she was very tame so I was able to bring her out of it by taking her everywhere with me in the house and giving her little freedoms (like encouraging her to go to the other end of the couch to get a treat, or to eat her cereal (she LOVED cream of wheat with broccoli!) at the other end of the table. It took about a year, but she became a fearless bird! No new keets yet, but I haven't given up hope! That's totally the way- seems like there are ALWAYS keets in need of rescue, but not now (now there are at least five 'tiels that I've come across needing homes, but my mom would KILL me!). I've checked several local pet stores, but none have jumped out at me. Maybe I'm being too picky...
