Heya, Artoo!
Yup, I beep too, and Mom calls me her Beep-Beep. We might not have the greatest speaking voices, but I can tell you, we sure do know how to make great sounds! Like when my Mom worked third shift, I really wanted to know what she was doing in her bedroom. She said she had to sleep. Well, I knew how to get her to come in the living room--I learned how to sound like the phone. One day I rang and rang, but she did not come out of the bedroom. So I did it again. I knew she was up cuz she picked up the phone, and I heard her cuss a little at it. She still didn't come out, so I rang and rang again. This time she came out and picked up the phone, but there was no one there. Ha! She turned around when I rang again, and then she started to laugh and took me out of my house and gave me lots of head scritches. I can do the microwave really well, and when I get super hungry (well, not really but I like to make sure she thinks I am), I will beep really fast in microwave. She loves it. Mom says she loves me lots, and I know I sure love her right back! We are a really great species, and even though we might be smaller in size, we think we are Macaws! Everyone knows me from Mom's job, and I go with Mom to the farmer's market in summer, and to the hand car wash where everyone thinks I am great. So your Mom has a very special birdie in you!
Now for the baseball thing. If you can send a picture to my Mom at dzalac@wi.rr.com, and a list of 15 numbers between 1-12, that will get things started. You can see our baseball page at #173924. And Calico's page is #40264. Mom does the team photos. Oh, and what position would you like to play? I am a catcher, but our field is wide open this year.
This is a great place. Everyone here is so super, both birdies and parronts--well, at least the birdies and parronts Mom blogs with. It will be great for you, I do believe.
