Hello Sunny
Grover here. While this is a day that makes the heart ache all over again with the memories of losing Comet, I wanted to stop in here and say 'Hi', ask how you are, tell you I'm doing good myself. The winter months have gone by okay; I didn't get my wings trimmed this year like I did last winter. For some reason, we 'tiels stayed off those opened closet doors this time. That's what got us all de-flighted last time. Six of us would line up on those opened doors and when it came time for mom to shut them, we wouldn't get off! We'd be removed, one by one, with a skinny little perch but before the last one would be transported elsewhere, one of the first ones off would fly back up. It was a crazy circus show! Eventually we pushed our luck too far and got ourselves grounded. Problem was, come spring, none of us could fly so we had a tough time of it out in the bird barn, a place that's set up for flighted birds. This year, we're going to start the spring season out right; flyin' high!
