Hoorah! It’s my 6th hatchday! Thank you sooo much for the vote and visit. I’m over half way to 2,100 now... will you leave that special vote?

I have a piece of sad news for you. As you probably already know, Huey (#60780), passed away yesterday (3/15) while he was having surgery. Please pray for his Mama and also for my friend Princess (#93758). Princess is sick and has been for quite some time now, her meds aren’t working. Please keep her and her parronts in your prayers, Princess is such a sweet bird! Since my run started, she comes by more than once a day just to visit. She is great!

• Parrots are the only birds that hold their food up to their beaks to eat.
• A flock of goldfinches is called a 'charm'

.·:*¨¨*:·. “Most Airborne Bird” .·:*¨¨*:·.
The sooty tern (Sterna fuscata) leaves its nesting grounds as a youngster and remains aloft for 3-10 years, settling on water from time to time. It returns to land to breed as an adult.

That’s interesting, that parrots (which includes budgies, parakeets, macaws, ‘tiels and I think a few more) are the only birds that hold their food up to their mouth. And that’s a cute flock name... a ‘Charm’! Also a bird staying airborne for up to TEN whole years?? THAT’s a long time!!

I’m so happy that it’s my hatchday. I’m finally SIX WHOLE YEARS OLD!! That’s a long time. Mama’s surprised to think that she’s had me almost that long. I don’t think that we have anything special planned for today, Mama said that I’ll have some extra time with her. I hope so! Too bad we just ran out of carrots the day before my birthday. They’re my favorite treat, too! Oh well. Here’s a vote, and thank you SO much for visiting me, with a hatchday wish and vote! All are greatly appreciated :)
