How funny.
Hi there! Your Lilac Crwon sounds a lot like my red-rump parakeet. He was born with a twisted bcak toe ( it faces forward, but upside down). He can perch and tries to climb but he's not great at it. I'm very lucky if he'll let me pet him. He likes to perch and will follow me around like my shadow, but just doens't like being touched. Birds are quirky like that I guess! Anyways, at some point I may get a Lilac-crowned amazon. I've heard that they are smaller amazons who tend to be a little less tempermental than the larger ones, but I guess it may just depend on the individual bird huh?! lol Have a great day.
