Thanks for the vote! I’m sure we can make my goal, now. I have 2 days to get eighty more votes (so that I get 2,700). Oh, lookie there! My good friend Cookie won BOTD :) Please go and congratulate him! Also, could you please go and leave my friends Pearl & Silver (187354) a vote, so that they may become Birds Of The Day? Thank you!

As I told some of you last night, I like my new bell toy now! Mama bought it for me on Tuesday, so I got used to it fairly quickly. Mama would come over to me with the bell, ding it a few times (how it works is there are 2 chains with a pink bead on one end and on the other chain a blue bead. you pull on one of the chains and it makes the bell ding). Each time Mama brought it to me, she put it closer to me on my perch in my cage. Eventually, she started to ding it and I stretched my neck up to see it better. She put it right up against the cage, and I nibbled on it. That was a good enough sign for Mama! She put it in my cage and left me alone, and she could hear me playing with it. What I do, is I just stick my beak up into it and ding it manually, hehe.

• Both wren parents feed their chicks. They can make up to 1,000 trips between them to bring back enough food in one day.
• The smallest parrot species are the Pygmy Parrots, who have an average length of about 8cm.

I guess that I shouldn’t be complaining about my wings aching from campaigning, at least I don’t have to make 500 trips a day like those wren parents! Sheesh.

Here’s a vote! Two more days of campaigning to go :) Oh, and I have another favor to ask of you (sorry!!). Could you please visit my horse friend Kootenai #161648 and leave him a vote? He’s running for HOTM, and I think that this is like his 3rd try or something. He’s lost every time, and we’re feeling pretty bad for him :( So please go to his page and leave him a vote. He would really appreciate it! I’m sorry about throwing several things at you to do today! I just got an e-mail saying that Kootenai needs votes this morning. Well, thank you SO much again for helping me with all of my goals :) I should be BOTM in just a few days now!!
