Thank you for voting! I’m almost at my goal, and I honestly didn’t think that I would make it this far so quickly! I’m 5 votes away as I type. Hooray! My good friends Pearl & Silver got BOTD :) I’m so glad. Oh by the way, please keep voting for Kootenai (HC 161648)! Thank you to those who left him a vote, this is his 3rd try for HOTM :( I think that he really deserves this!

Well, Mama and I learned that I think corn is DELICIOUS! I think that it was yesterday, Mama was searching the fridge for something she could give me as a treat when she let me out. She found some corn (home-grown!) and decided to give it a try. I LOVE IT!! It’s so sweet and yummy :) she’s happy to see that I like it, since we ran out of strawberries (my other favorite) and we have to wait until summer to get more quality strawberries. And how does she expect me to wait that long?? I’m glad I like corn, hehe!

• In a single year, the American robin can produce three successful broods.
• The Laughing Kookaburra gets its moniker from its manic laughter-like call. And its early dawn and dusk cackling chorus earned it the nickname “bushman’s clock”. The Laughing Kookaburra is also the largest of the kingfisher family, getting up to 18 inches long (beak to tail), with it’s beak growing up to 4 inches.

The peregrine falcon (Falco peregrinus) is believed to be able to spot a pigeon from a distance of more than 5 miles under ideal conditions.

WHOA!! That is REALLY good vision! Under ideal conditions, they can see more than 5 miles?? Sheesh! Too bad my vision isn’t that good hehe. I’d never heard of the Laughing Kookaburra (whew!) before finding bird facts. I wonder what it sounds like? I’ll bet you could find that out online.

Guess what?? My portrait is finished! But I can’t show you or tell you anything about it except that ... IT’S AWESOME! Hehehhe. I got it a few days ago, it is just amazing. Just wait until you see it! Friday. Whew. My run will be over on Friday! Weeird... OH yeah, and I wanted to remind you that my frother Royal #203755 is running for BOTD tomorrow! Please leave him a vote on the 31st. We’re hoping that if he wins BOTD, then he and I can have the castle to ourselves on my first day as BOTM! Anyway, here’s my vote for you ... Thank you again for helping me with my votes! OH yeah, and one more thing! You won’t have to miss my birdie facts too much! Roscoe has agreed to let me post weekly bird facts on his BC News Page #190464!!
