Wow I sure hope mom feels better soon! That sounds really serious. Thanks for your visit and vote! Here's today's garden notes: Many perennials bloom for only a short time each summer, like peonies, forsythia, poppies, daffodils, tulips, hyacinths, and many others. There are some, however, that will provide longer term bloom times, like monarda (bee balm), achillea sp. (Yarrow), coreopsis, hollyhock mallow, many day lilies, especially the stella d'oro types, many sedum sp., phlox, aster, salvia, and some veronica. I know, many salvias are annual, but I included them here because the blue/purple ones reseed so readily they might as well be perennial. Also, make sure the veronica you plant isn't an invasive type, that will depend on where you live. Here's a hug and a vote for today. Falco |
