Hi Pepper
Punkin here to thank you for your vote.

Todays flower is one that many have in their yard. Lilac (Syringa vulgaris) - The flavor of lilacs varies from plant to plant. Very fragramt, slightly bitter. Has a distinct lemony taste with floral, pungent overtones. Great in salads and crystallized with egg whites and sugar.
Who woulda thought they were so just likes to bring them in for the smell. Now we birds are wanting mom to let us give them a try...of course they aren't open here yet.

The word on Bird is that she's going to get blood tests done. OUR vet says that in his 25 years he's only seen 3 cases like least he's seen them. One died but the other birds lived out their lives healthy. We're hoping the latter for Bird. We get to take care of her until she's well enough to go to her new home. She should be coming here later today.
