I got TWO new budgie boys! Storm is a dominant pied cobalt- very pretty. I picked him because he was flirting with all the girl-birds at PSP. He's still young, he has a pink cere, but he has so much white on him that it might stay pink. I got Fog today- what a beauty! He's a dark violet opaline. Wind is totally enamored of him- as soon as she saw him she flew down to his perch and sidled up to him. He was a little freaked out at first, but he didn't fly away, so that's a good sign. She and Storm don't get along that well, but at least they don't fight. I'm hoping that Fog will hook up with Wind (a good combination for slate babies!) and yet be a friend for Storm. Speaking of babies- ten wow! Have you pulled them for handfeeding yet? You are going to have your hands full for a while! How many homes do you have lined up so far? Your Gov't teacher is a hoot! I'm having trouble staying above water in my physics class, but I'm getting caught up (learning triganometry...). The rest of my classes are fine. My drawing teacher and my sculpture teacher both love my stuff, so no problems there... I'll get pictures of the boys in a few days- I want to give them time to settle in. Oh yes, I almost bought an English budgie, if she weren't a girl I would have! She was at PSP, there was a lovebird in the bin next to theirs and she REALLY liked the lovebird! She kept trying to chew through the glass, then she'd roll over onto her back. She was SO adorable, but I thought that she and Wind would probably fight, plus, she'd miss that lovebird so much!
