Hi Limon and Lima
Punkin here.
Here it is my very last vote day and I want to THANK EVERYBIRDIE FOR ALL YOUR VOTES. WITHOUT YOU I COULD NEVER HAVE MET SO MANY AND HAD SO MUCH FUN. THANKS AGAIN.
Now onto the more important things.....I know that our dear Queen Falco is having computer trouble. Yep, of all times for her eh? I am planning so much for my party that everybirdie will attend...I hope. Don't worry about being late or early as there are many who love to party and rarely miss one. And rarely turn in until way late. hehehe I have gotten the castle staff to start fixing the flowers and veggies for tonight/tomorrow. They say they are very excited to taste them themselves so it should be good. They are busy making ice cubes...that started yesterday...with flowers and for some adventurous ones out there, bugs. Mostly for BooBoo, our jay friend. I know me and my Co. of finches are going to try them. Then I have asked Martini to set up a bar to serve his magic mixes. The Thirsty Parrot is bringing appetizers. And we all know how good they are! And of course, Ollie's Pie Shop is providing the desserts. Not sure what all that will be but they make the best so who cares? As always Popeye is going to be there with her security force.
I have no real theme this time, however, everybird will be getting a lovely flower of their choice as a gift. OF COURSE THEY CAN BE EATEN!!!! But please don't eat the whole plant so you can enjoy more flowers. Whatever is left (if any) gets planted in the gardens.
Please come and enjoy Queen Falco's and MY party.

Flowers of the day:

Corn Shoots (Zea mays) - Corn shoots may be eaten when they resemble large blades of grass with a strong sweet corn flavor, which could be used as a garnish for a corn chowder. The whole baby corn in husk may also be eaten, silk and all.

Marjoram (Origanum majorana) - Flowers are a milder version of plant's leaf. Use as you would the herb.

Burnet (Sanquisorba minor - The taste usually is likened to that of cucumbers, and burnet can be used interchangeably with borage.

Now the page/pages everybird has been waiting for!

One last note...Molly asked mom to write up something and make sure that she sent the flower pages into BC so they could publish it as there are many birdie parronts that are either not in our circle or just don't have a computer. Mom and I are going to do just that. Mom got permission from the page's owner as long as mom mentions whose page it is. The said lady is.... Linda Stradley. We can thank her for her hard work.
