Hummingbirds and Zena
Hope you'll get a chance to cool down some. Here, in the northwest hills of Connecticut, we've had pleasantly cool nights. Last night it got down to 52 degrees! They say the heat and the humidity is on the way so I knew it couldn't last.
I put Tessa in her travel cage and took her out on the deck to get some fresh air and sun. Zena and Zachary came out too in their cages. Everyone chattered away and a hummingbird came to visit Zena's cage! She got pretty excited. I think it was attracted by the brightly colored toys in her cage. The hummingbird stayed for a few seconds and flew off, but all the birds had to comment on it!
We have three hummingbird feeders set up so there are plenty around all summer. Fun!
