• MEMORY VERSE OF THE DAY
"For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst." --Matthew 18:20

"The Day In History" (July 4, 2011) Year 1911: Heat wave strikes Northeast
Beginning on this day in 1911 a heat wave scorched the Northeast for eleven days, killing hundreds of people by the time the heat broke. Record high temperatures were set across New England. In Nashua, New Hampshire, the mercury reached 106 degreese Fahrenheit. New York CIty was also blistered by the intense heat, and the city's mayor tried to ensure there was enough ice to keep the city's food supply from spoiling. By July 13, New York City reported that than 211 people dead. Farther south in Philadelphia, 159 people died.

Thank you for your amazing support, U are awesome :)
