Hi, Sammy,
We didn't know that your flockmate Zak was at the Rainbow Bridge with you. We've already been by with a vote. Just had to comment on your parronts visiting the Faire.

Our parronts haven't been to a Faire in many years. The one near us has moved to a different and farther away location. Don't recall if they had a Bird of Prey show, but it would definitely scare a parrot. We freak just seeing a shadow of a large bird (usually it's only a crow) so can imagine seeing a real one would be worse!
Even if a hawk is 'trained' it's still basically a wild bird and insticts never change, a predator is a predator. However, Dad always transported his hawk with the hood on. The hood came off once the hawk was out of the travel box. Maybe those hawks ought to have been hooded until it was their turn to perform...

Your Mom shouldn't feel bad about taking Simon with her those hawks would've reacted the same if they saw a tiny dog. Our Dad thinks his hawk looked at skinsis (a baby at the time) like that too.

Wing hugs, Pearl and Silver.
