Hi BeGe
Okay, okay, enough with the herps corner! (That's the reptiles and amphibians, you know.) Today we're going back outside, into the large flight cage. Usually we have hawks or owls there, making sure they can hunt and roost successfully. The day mom took the pics, though, there were killdeer in there, making sure they could scratch out a living on the floor! The cage is huge, about the size of a large barn, with an open roof, netted of course. There are large branches and logs in there, with a hide box for those who need it. Other animals can use the flight cage, as well as hawks, falcons, and owls. As you see, the killdeer are in there, but we also use it for foxes prior to release. We see if they can dig their way out! If so, they're ready to go. Thanks for your votes, here's a vote and a hug for you too. Willie
